Voice Over Example A

Farinelli – Lascia Ch’io Pianga This movie is a dramatized portrait based on a historical figure, Farinelli, who was a celebrated castrato singer. This example brings up at least two types of vocal technologies, the technology of creating the castrato voice (castration) and that of digitally producing the Farinelli’s voice in the movie voice vocal aspect – what has been describe as a digitally ‘morphed’ mixture of a counter tenor with a soprano voice. For a brief and basic wiki description of the movie, see here.
